The Soft Furnishing Studio is a family-run business with a shared passion for beautifully made soft furnishings and upholstery.

Patricia has many years of experience creating bespoke curtains, blinds, cushions and soft furnishings, supported by a Degree in Art & Design.

Kitty holds a Degree in Fashion & Textile Design and shares the same passion for beautiful fabrics, thoughtful design and traditional craftsmanship.

How do consultations work?

While our new Haverhill studio is being prepared, we are offering consultations in the comfort of your own home. This allows us to see your furniture or windows in situ, take any necessary measurements and discuss your ideas with you.

Our Haverhill studio will open in January 2027, with studio appointments available from then.

Can I supply my own fabric?

In many cases, yes. We're also happy to help you source the perfect fabric from our carefully selected collections.

What types of upholstery do you offer?

We undertake a range of upholstery projects, from dining chairs and footstools to armchairs and sofas. If you're unsure whether we can help, just ask.

How long will my project take?

Every project is unique. Timescales depend on the type of work and our current workload, but we'll always give you an estimated completion date before we begin.

Do you offer collection and delivery?

Yes. We can arrange collection and delivery for larger items, making the process as simple and convenient as possible.

Do you make bespoke curtains and blinds?

Absolutely. Every set is made to order and tailored to your windows, style and home.
